The ongoing dispute between YouTube TV and Disney is set to carry over into Week 11 of college football. News broke last week that ESPN, ABC and other Disney networks were going dark on Google’s YouTube TV.

YouTube TV and Disney could not reach a contract agreement, leaving subscribers without ABC and ESPN channels before a big college football weekend.

The disagreement causing the ESPN and ABC outage stems from the "carriage fee" that YouTube TV pays Disney to broadcast its channels. Disney has faced similar negotiating standoffs with other broadcasters in recent years, including a 2021 outage on YouTubeTV that was resolved in two days.
