A suspect has been arrested after a fatal shooting near a Dunkin’ Donuts in Mankato, Minnesota, on Sunday morning. Police say one person was found dead inside a vehicle near Madison Avenue, and a firearm was recovered.

The officer, Roger Smith, was shot and killed while on duty at 9 a.m. The suspect, 29-year-old Benji Martin Jr., was charged with murder.
